I took Sophie and Taylor up to the lake on an overcast kind of day. We debated for a day and a half where to go before giving up and heading north.
I sent an iPhone photo of the beach to my mom and she thought the sand was water. The lake isn’t that dirty, but okay.
Even though it’s the end of June, the wind was blowing. It was a nice breeze, even though it caused the tide to come up at weird points (and soak me to my knees).
Taylor really wanted to head to the lighthouse but we could not possibly find a way over there without drowning ourselves in the process.
